A Permian Basin operator had been witnessing solids deposition issues within the bottom third section of the tubing and below the EOT, resulting in many cases in tubing and equipment failures, and significant solid blockages. Wellbore cleanouts along the curvature (below the EOT), production chemistry analyses, and in some cases buildup tests indicated the possibility of significant solids deposition along the lateral and near wellbore (skin damage).
